What it does

KariSMMa has a remote Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. An AI app that speaks MCP can use your workspace as you would: it acts as the person who connected it, with that person's role, plan and points.

  • Plan and publish: read the calendar, create drafts with a caption per network, schedule them, and publish when you say so.
  • Approvals: see what is waiting, approve or ask for changes, and make a no-sign-in approval link for a client.
  • Inbox: read comments and direct messages, label and close them, draft replies in the brand's voice, and send only the replies you approve.
  • Results and reports: totals and top posts for any period, results per post and per account, and client reports written from the real numbers.
  • AI writing: on-brand captions, a caption tailored for each network, ideas and the AI strategy, using the workspace's points.
  • Planning: the content plans, the ideas backlog, Autopilot settings and a fresh week prepared on request.

Every AI app connects to the same address. It speaks Streamable HTTP and accepts two ways in: signing in with your KariSMMa account (OAuth, for Claude and ChatGPT), or a personal access token in the Authorization header (for Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code and scripts).

Set it up

Claude (web, desktop and mobile)

  1. In Claude, open Settings, Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
  2. Name it KariSMMa and paste the server address above.
  3. Choose Connect, sign in to KariSMMa and allow access. Claude now works in your current workspace.
  4. To use it in a chat, turn KariSMMa on in the chat's tools menu. On a Team or Enterprise plan, an owner adds the connector once for the organization.

ChatGPT

  1. In ChatGPT, open Settings, Apps and connectors. Adding an app by its address can need developer mode (in the advanced settings), depending on your plan.
  2. Create an app named KariSMMa with the server address above and OAuth as the authentication.
  3. Sign in to KariSMMa when ChatGPT asks, and allow access.

Claude Code

  1. In KariSMMa, open Settings, Connections, AI apps and choose Create token. Pick read only or full access, the brands it may see and when it expires, then copy the token (it is shown once).
  2. Run this in your terminal, with your token in place of ksm_mcp_YOUR_TOKEN:

Tools

Read tools only look. Write tools change something in KariSMMa, send something or use points, so Claude and ChatGPT ask you before they run one. Tools marked "asks to confirm" also run only after you approved the exact action. A tool your role can't use is not offered to you at all.

Apps that connect by signing in (Claude and ChatGPT) get the writing tools above. The AI image, video, upscale and voice tools are offered only to personal access tokens, for example in Claude Code or Cursor, and in the KariSMMa app itself.

How it stays safe

  • Your role decides

    Owners, Managers and Client approvers get the same powers as in the app. A Client approver sees only Awaiting approval, the calendar, reports and the bell, for their brands. Every tool calls the same server actions as the app's pages, which check the workspace and the role again.

  • Your plan decides

    Every plan can connect and do what the app does. The plan's usual limits (brands, accounts, posts a month, storage, approval links) apply exactly as in the app, and an AI app is told which plan includes more.

  • Points, in plain view

    AI writing tools use the workspace's points, as in the app, and every result says what it spent and what is left. Actions on the workspace's own AI keys use no points.

  • Nothing goes out without a yes

    Publishing now, deleting a post and both kinds of reply run only with confirm set to true, after you approved the exact text. Without it they change nothing and say what would happen. A Full Autopilot run needs the same confirmation, because its posts publish by themselves.

  • The scam guard

    Messages that pretend to be Meta to get a login or a click are marked as scams in the Inbox. No AI app can reply to them, and only a person can mark one as not a scam, in the Inbox.

  • Every change is logged

    Changes made through an AI app appear in the workspace's Activity log under the person's name, marked "via MCP" and the app's name, as every change in the app is.

  • Rate limits

    Each connection may make 60 tool calls a minute, and each person 120 across all of theirs, so an AI app that runs away can't flood your workspace or your networks.

  • You stay in control

    Tokens can be read only, limited to some brands, set to expire after 30, 90, 365 days or never, and revoked at once. Apps connected by signing in can be disconnected in Settings, Connections, AI apps.

Privacy and data use

What the AI app sends. Only the tool it calls and that tool's inputs, for example a brand name, a post's text or a date range. KariSMMa does not read your conversation, the AI app's memory or chat history, or your files, and no tool asks for them.

What KariSMMa sends back. The data the tool is for, from your workspace only, within your role and the brands the connection may see. Long lists come in pages of 25 (at most 100), so an answer is never a dump of the whole workspace.

What we keep. The Activity log entry for each change, a per-minute call count for the rate limits, and for each connection its name, when it was last used and from which app. Personal access tokens are stored only as a one-way hash and their last four characters. Signing in is handled by our authentication provider, Clerk: the AI app receives an access token, never your password.

AI features. When a tool writes with AI (captions, replies, ideas, reports), the text and instructions it needs go to the AI provider that performs it, exactly as when you use the same feature in the app.

In the AI app. What the AI app does with the answers is governed by its provider and your settings there, for example Anthropic for Claude and OpenAI for ChatGPT.

Questions and answers

Which AI apps can connect?

Any app that speaks MCP over Streamable HTTP: Claude on the web, desktop and mobile, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code and others. Claude and ChatGPT connect by signing in; Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code can use a personal access token.

Do I need a paid plan?

Every plan can connect, the Free plan included, and an AI app can do what you can do in the app, within the plan's limits. AI writing tools use the workspace's points, as in the app.

Can the AI publish or reply without asking me?

No. Claude and ChatGPT ask before every write tool, and publishing now, deleting and replying also need your approval of the exact action. Replies to messages marked as scams are refused whatever the AI is told.

Can I limit what an AI app sees or does?

Yes. It never does more than your role allows. A personal access token can be read only, limited to some brands, and set to expire. You can revoke a token or disconnect an app at any time in Settings, Connections, AI apps.

Does KariSMMa see my conversations with Claude or ChatGPT?

No. KariSMMa receives only the tool the AI app calls and its inputs. It never reads your chat history, the AI app's memory or your files.

Why don't I see image, video or voice tools in Claude or ChatGPT?

Apps that connect by signing in get the text tools: captions, replies, ideas, reports and strategy. The AI image, video, upscale and voice tools are available with a personal access token, and in the KariSMMa app.

How do I disconnect an AI app?

In KariSMMa, open Settings, Connections, AI apps and disconnect the app or revoke the token; it stops at once. You can also remove the connector in the AI app.
